The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, highly organised Warehouse Lead to own the heartbeat of our operation. Reporting to the Operations Manager (who handles warehouse planning and scheduling), you'll make sure every piece of gear is prepped, tested, tracked and ready to roll — and you'll lead and develop our warehouse team to keep standards high and the floor moving.
This is a warehouse-based role ideal for someone who takes real pride in a well-run space and a job done right. This is a high-growth role. You're joining at an early stage, and as the business grows, you'll build out and lead your own team.
Events don’t run on a 9-5 schedule, so neither do we. We’re looking for someone who’s flexible with hours and knows the job isn’t done until it's done. You’re the type of person who takes ownership and sees things through end to end.
What You'll Do
• Lead, supervise and motivate the warehouse team day-to-day.
• Pick, pack and prep equipment for upcoming jobs — accurately, to spec, and on time. Every detail matters, a well prepped kit is what keeps our events running day to day.
• Ensuring clean and efficient delivery of every event.
• Load & Unload vehicles from projects, and ensuring vehicles are loaded on time for outgoing events.
• Maintain, test and quality-check AV gear, flagging repairs and scheduling routine maintenance.
• Manage inventory and assets accurately across Rentman and Atlas.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, safe and compliant at all times.
• Coordinate gear returns, restocking and turnaround between jobs.
• Uphold WHS standards and safe manual-handling practices across the team.
What You'll Bring
• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse, logistics or AV/events environment — we care more about the right attitude than the exact background.
• Outstanding organisation and attention to detail (this one's non-negotiable).
• Proven ability to lead a team and bring out their best.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Confidence with inventory or warehouse software — experience with Rentman is a bonus; we'll train the right person.
• Physical fitness — this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and being on your feet all day.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• HR truck license desirable.
• Technical AV knowledge (lighting, audio, rigging) helpful but not essential.
• A genuine passion for the AV/events industry and warehouse management.
