— Awards nights & gala dinners

Awards nights that run to the second.

Staging, lighting, sound, LED screens and show calling for awards nights and gala dinners across Melbourne and Sydney. Every walk-up, every video and every speech lands on cue.

— How we run the night

One crew. Every cue.

An awards night lives or dies on its run sheet. Category reads, winner walk-ups, nominee videos, sponsor messages and live acts all have to land on cue, in a room full of people who notice when they don’t. We design the lighting, audio, vision and staging together, then run the night with a dedicated show caller and operators on every desk.

For the Floridia Cheese 70th anniversary gala at Crown Palladium, delivered with Styled by Valentina, that meant a 12-hour overnight bump-in, a custom circular lighting rig over a round stage and dance floor, and dozens of performance cues with tight changeovers between acts. Guests remember the night, not the production. That’s the point.

Whether it’s an industry awards ceremony, a company recognition night or a black-tie charity gala, you get one point of contact from the first site visit to the last guest leaving.

— What's included

What we deliver.

  • Staging & winner walk-ups. Stages, lecterns and stairs placed where winners actually walk from, high enough to be seen over every centrepiece.
  • Show calling. A dedicated show caller on comms with the MC, kitchen and every desk, so courses and categories never collide.
  • LED screens & vision. Nominee reels, winner slides, sponsor loops and live camera close-ups, with a playback operator on every cue.
  • Lighting design. A warm room for dinner, a show state for the ceremony, a lit route to the stage and a dance floor for when the formalities end.
  • Sound for speeches and bands. Clear speech at every table, and a full PA for live acts and DJs, mixed separately so neither drowns the other.
  • Rehearsals & presenter support. Tech rehearsals with your MC and presenters, so nobody meets the stage for the first time on the night.
  • Room transformation. Draping, rigging and custom builds for ballrooms, warehouses and venues that need more than the house rig.
— Common questions

Good to know.

How early should we book production for an awards night?
As early as you can. Popular dates book out months ahead, especially in the lead-up to the end of year. If your date is closer than you’d like, get in touch anyway and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.
Do you work with our MC, entertainment and event stylist?
Yes. We regularly deliver alongside event stylists, planners and entertainment agencies. We share the run sheet, stage plan and timings with everyone, so the night runs as one show.
Can you play our nominee videos and winner graphics?
Yes. Send your content ahead of time and our vision operator will load, test and rehearse it, so every nominee reel, winner slide and sponsor loop plays exactly on cue.
How much does awards night production cost?
It depends on guest numbers, the venue and how much the room needs to change. A ballroom dinner using the house rig sits at a very different level from a full room transformation with staging, LED screens and rigging. Send us your date, venue and run sheet and we’ll put together a quote.
Can you livestream the awards for people who can’t attend?
Yes, with multi-camera coverage and a separate broadcast mix. It works best for awards with remote finalists or sponsors. For purely social nights we’ll often suggest a recording instead, because the room is the experience.
Do you produce awards nights in Sydney?
Yes. We’re established in Melbourne and now have a Sydney base in Moorebank, so we deliver awards nights and gala dinners across both cities to the same standard.
