The role
As a casual event builder, you'll construct custom sets and scenic elements — the carpentry and set-building that turns a concept into a physical, show-ready build. Work varies with our event calendar, so it suits someone after flexible, hands-on work with real craft to it.
What you'll do
• Build custom sets and scenic elements from plans and briefs. • Carpentry and set-building in the workshop and on-site. • Prep, assemble and finish builds to a high standard. • Assist with install and pack-down of builds at events where needed. • Keep the workshop safe, clean and organised.
What we're looking for
• Solid carpentry and set-building skills — you know your way around tools and a workshop. • An eye for detail and pride in a clean, well-made build. • Physical fitness for hands-on workshop and on-site work. • Reliability and flexible availability that flexes with the event calendar. • A White Card or other relevant tickets preferred, but not essential. • A current driver's licence is preferred.
