Pro Light & Sound is one of Australia's leading AV and event production companies — the AV Stylists brands and agencies trust to make their events look and sound exactly the way they were promised. We're expanding into Sydney, and we're building our casual crew from the ground up: the hands that make live events happen. If you're keen, reliable and ready to work, we'd love to hear from you.

About us

Pro Light & Sound is one of Melbourne's leading AV and event production companies. We're the AV Stylists — the team brands and agencies trust to make their events look and sound exactly the way they were promised. We work to a simple philosophy: Every Event, Every Effort. We're growing into Sydney, and we're building our pool of casual event staff to help us deliver — the hands that make live events happen. Get in early with a team that's just getting started in your city.

The role

As casual event staff, you'll help bring events to life — from bump-in through to bump-out. It's hands-on, fast-paced work across some of Sydney's best venues and events. Shifts vary with our event calendar, so it suits people who want flexible, varied work rather than a fixed 9-to-5. We care more about attitude and enthusiasm than years of experience. If you’re keen to join a leading event production team and ready to roll up your sleeves and work with a supportive and driven team, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Load, unload, move and set up AV and event equipment. • Assist with bump-in and bump-out at venues across Sydney. • Help set up lighting, audio, staging and vision under direction. • Help build, create & set up branding, custom builds, styling & décor products. • Keep sites tidy, safe and running smoothly. • Pack down and return gear at the end of events.

What we're looking for

• A strong work ethic and a reliable, can-do attitude — we welcome all levels of experience. • Physical fitness — this is active work involving lifting and being on your feet. • Availability that flexes with the event calendar, including early starts, late finishes and weekends. • A team player who takes pride in getting the job done right. • Event or AV experience is great, but attitude matters most — we'll show you the rest. • A current driver's licence is preferred.

Why PLS

You'll join a passionate, growing crew and get in on the ground floor as we expand into Sydney. Great people, great gear, and a "yes" mindset that runs through everything we do. We live by four principles, and it's on all of us, individually and as a team, to bring them to work every day:

Care. We treat every event like it's our own, with nothing left to chance. We care about the work and the people we do it with.

Clarity. Everyone knows the plan, their role, and the next step. We'll always be straight with you, and we hope you'll do the same for us.

Communication. Proactive updates, honest conversations, no surprises. We'd rather hear from you early than have you struggle alone.

Calm. We stay composed under pressure, so the client only sees the magic. Things go sideways sometimes, and we steady each other through it rather than pointing fingers.

If that sounds like how you already move through the world, you'll feel right at home here!
