One show. In the room and on the stream.
Hybrid event production for launches, conferences and town halls across Melbourne and Sydney. We run the stage and the broadcast together, so your online audience gets the same event as the room.
The room and the stream, run as one.
Most hybrid events feel like two events: a show in the room, and a camera pointed at it for everyone else. We design the stage, lighting, audio, LED and cameras together, so the picture looks right on screen and the room still feels like an event. One crew runs both, from the same run sheet.
When Heidi Health unveiled Heidi II, 400 guests filled the room and a global livestream carried the keynote to clinicians and partners in more than 20 countries. Our broadcast team streamed the program while LED content, lighting and audio built each moment for the people in the room. Earlier in the year, Heidi Unlocked brought a hardware launch to around 700 healthcare leaders in a Melbourne warehouse, with an outbound livestream for a global audience.
We also produce Heidi’s regular hybrid internal conferences. Whether it’s a product reveal, an annual conference or a CEO town hall, you get one partner for the stage and the stream, not two suppliers trying to share a cable.
What we deliver.
- Multi-camera production. Cameras on the speaker, the stage and the room, with a dedicated vision switcher cutting between them and your content live.
- Live streaming & broadcast. An outbound stream to the platform you choose, monitored end to end on the day.
- Audio for two audiences. A broadcast mix separate from the room PA, so online viewers hear every word clearly.
- Hard-wired connectivity. A wired internet line, never venue wi-fi, with a backup path for the moments that matter.
- Remote presenters & Q&A. Speakers joining from anywhere, on the room’s screens and in the stream, plus a plan for questions from remote attendees.
- Lighting for camera. Stage lighting designed for the lens as well as the room, so presenters look right on screen.
- Rehearsals & test streams. Full tech rehearsals, including remote presenters, and a test stream before doors open.
Good to know.
- What is a hybrid event?
- A hybrid event has a live audience in the room and a remote audience watching online at the same time. Done well, both audiences share the same moments: the keynote, the reveal and the Q&A.
- Is a livestream the same as a hybrid event?
- Not quite. A livestream broadcasts the event outward. A hybrid event also brings the online audience in, with remote presenters or live Q&A, so they’re part of the program rather than just watching it. We produce both.
- Which events suit a hybrid format?
- Content with a shelf life, like conferences, launches and training, audiences split across cities, and moments where reach is the point. Purely social nights usually don’t stream well, and a recording edited after the event is sometimes the smarter answer. We’ll tell you honestly which fits.
- How much does hybrid event production cost?
- A properly produced stream adds cameras, a vision switcher and a separate broadcast mix, so expect the AV budget to grow by roughly a third to a half compared with the room alone, more if remote presenters join live. Send us your brief and we’ll quote it against your run sheet.
- Can you use the venue’s internet?
- We always plan for a hard-wired connection rather than venue wi-fi, and we check the line during the site visit. Where the stream matters, we bring a backup path so a dropout doesn’t end your broadcast.
- Do you produce hybrid events in Sydney?
- Yes. We work across Melbourne and Sydney, and hybrid is often how teams in both cities share one event.
