Floridia 70th Anniversary Gala.
A museum style entry, round performance stage, custom lighting - Crown Palladium reimagined overnight.
To celebrate 70 years of Floridia Cheese, Styled by Valentina brought together an incredible lineup of suppliers to deliver a truly unforgettable anniversary gala. Held across Crown Palladium rooms A & B, the brief was to design an immersive and elegant dinner event honouring the company's legacy, with owners, staff, farmers, clients and suppliers all in the room.
Pro Light & Sound was engaged to deliver the full production for the night - lighting, staging, audio, vision and room styling, with a particular focus on creating an immersive performance space centred around a custom circular lighting feature.
The Brief
With only a single overnight to work with, the room had to be built while staying accessible to other suppliers working underneath at the same time. Limited ceiling capacity added another layer of complexity, calling for careful planning to safely suspend the key lighting feature above the stage.
The room itself was also flipped from its usual layout to create a museum style entry space ahead of dinner, which meant designing sound to work across two very different zones while still keeping the whole night feeling like one seamless experience.
What We Delivered
Lighting: A custom circular feature became the visual centrepiece of the night, suspended directly over the round performance stage and dancefloor. It anchored the room visually while creating movement and energy through the show.
Audio: Sound ran across both zones of the room, supporting speeches, performers, DJ and band sets, all balanced to suit each moment of the night.
Staging: Projection, full black draping across both rooms, and custom staging gave the night a cohesive, considered finish from every angle.
Crew: Dozens of performance cues, multiple acts and tight changeovers ran seamlessly through the night, guided by an on-site show caller and a dedicated crew.
The End Result
A stunning, immersive gala that captured the spirit of Floridia's 70-year milestone. Guests raved about the sound, lighting and energy of the evening, and the event was widely shared across social media by both attendees and performers.
