The Brief
To celebrate 70 years of Floridia Cheese, Styled by Valentina brought together an incredible lineup of suppliers to deliver a truly unforgettable anniversary gala. Held across Crown Palladium rooms A & B, the brief was to design an immersive and elegant dinner event honouring the company’s legacy — with owners, staff, farmers, clients, and suppliers in attendance.
Pro Light & Sound was engaged to deliver the full audiovisual and production scope — lighting, rigging, audio, projection, room draping, and show control — with a particular focus on creating an immersive performance space centered around a custom circular lighting installation.
The Challenge
With only a 12-hour overnight bump-in, we had to install large-scale rigging and technical infrastructure while ensuring the space remained accessible for other suppliers working underneath. The rigging was further complicated by limited ceiling weight availability, requiring precise design and technical execution to safely suspend our key lighting features.
The room layout was also flipped from its standard orientation to create a museum-style pre-dinner entry space. This required a more complex audio design to cover two distinct zones while maintaining a clean aesthetic and cohesive experience.

To meet the brief, we delivered a full-service technical production package including:
- Rigging and custom circle truss feature
- Lighting design and installation
- Audio system and show control
- Dual projection screens
- DJ, band, and performer technical riders
- Full black room draping for Crown Palladium A & B
- Staging
- Stage management
The custom-designed circular lighting rig became the visual centrepiece, perfectly positioned over the round performance stage and dancefloor. It not only anchored the space visually but created dynamic movement and impact throughout the show.
Our team also carefully managed dozens of performance cues across the night, with multiple acts and tight changeovers that ran seamlessly thanks to our on-site show caller and dedicated crew.
The Result
The result was a stunning, immersive gala that captured the spirit of Floridia’s 70-year milestone. Guests raved about the sound, lighting, and energy of the evening, and the event was widely shared across social media by attendees and performers alike.
