Our Cheltenham warehouse is usually where events start, not where they happen. It's where gear gets prepped, trucks get loaded, and custom builds get finished before they go out the door.
For Elevate, we used it differently. Instead of telling people what PLS can do, we built it and invited them to walk through it. Production, styling, custom fabrication, all in one space, done to the same standard we'dbring to any client event.
Building It
Transforming our warehouse took a few days and many determined crew.
The Pro Light & Sound team brought in production, lighting and the custom builds. Our sister company, Pro Light Styling, reshaped the warehouse with draping and styling. Between the two, the space changed a bit more each day.
Out front, lighting led guests in through a golden tunnel before they'd even reached the door. Inside, black and gold draping covered the warehouse walls, chandeliers hung overhead, and the lighting shifted the room's mood as the night went on. We built a custom media wall, an LED bar, an arcade game, and a full Wok Station into the space. There was a hidden dessert tunnel too, tucked behind a secret door for anyone who found it.
Then we opened the doors.
On the Night
More than 200 guests filled the room. Live music moved through the crowd, entertainment took to the stage and close-up magic happened around the room, while food and drinks flowed throughout the night.
It wasn’t a space designed to simply be looked at. Guests could move through it, interact with it and immerse themselves in everything happening around them.
Managing Director, Blaise Cosme took a moment to welcome everyone and share a little more about Elevate and why we brought the night together.
He spoke about a belief that sits at the heart of PLS: a business should be built on relationships.
“We don’t have clients, we have partners. You are our partners.”
And with the partnership comes responsibility.
“Your event is your reputation. Your brand is on the door, in the room and in every photo posted afterwards. Everything we do reflects on you.”
It was this belief that shaped Elevate from the beginning.
Our Standard
Elevate gave us the opportunity to show our standard rather than simply talk about it. It was us doing the job we do for the people we serve, on ourselves.
Same process, same attention to detail, same standard, from the week of setup to the last guest leaving. For one night, the warehouse where we get other people's events ready became the event.
