— Melbourne venues

AV production at Crown Melbourne.

Melbourne's grand ballroom — we've turned Crown's Palladium into everything from museum-style galas to awards spectaculars.

Crown's Palladium is one of the rooms we know best. We've loaded in through its docks, rigged from its grid and reset it overnight — so when your event lands at Crown, you're working with a team that already knows how the room behaves.

— The space

The Palladium is one of Melbourne's largest pillarless ballrooms — a genuinely blank canvas that seats well over a thousand guests, with a ceiling grid built for serious rigging. That scale is both the opportunity and the challenge: it rewards a big, considered production and exposes anything under-powered.

We plan Crown events around its realities — dock access and bump-in windows, house power and rigging sign-off, and sightlines across a very wide room. Line-array coverage, a stage that reads from the back tables, and lighting that fills the volume without flattening the room are all things we've solved here before.

— Crown Melbourne FAQs

What people ask about Crown Melbourne.

Can you work within Crown's venue and rigging requirements?
Yes. We regularly work to Crown's technical and rigging requirements, handle the sign-off paperwork and plan around their bump-in windows so your event lands cleanly.
How much AV does the Palladium really need?
It's a large, pillarless room, so audio and lighting have to cover a wide span. We spec a line-array PA and a lighting rig scaled to your guest count so every table hears and sees clearly.
Can you turn the room around overnight?
We have — for the Floridia 70th Anniversary Gala we reset the Palladium overnight into a museum-style entry with a round performance stage. Fast, clean resets in this room are something we plan for.
