— Conference AV

Conference AV in Melbourne.

Audio, screens, lighting and streaming for conferences, AGMs and summits across Melbourne and Sydney. Our own equipment, our own crew, and one team running your program from the first session to the final applause.

— How we do it

Built around your run sheet.

Every conference we produce starts with the program. How many sessions, how many speakers, who’s presenting remotely, what plays on screen and when. From there we design the room: a PA matched to the space, microphones for every voice, LED or projection sized for the back row, stage lighting that reads in person and on camera, and an operator who knows the run sheet as well as you do.

Our partnership with Heidi Health began with their regular hybrid internal conferences and grew into Heidi Unlocked, a launch for around 700 healthcare leaders with a global livestream. For TELUS Health, we took one presentation from Melbourne to the Sydney Opera House, tuned to two very different rooms so the experience felt identical in both.

We’ve produced events in Melbourne since 1989, in hotels, conference centres, theatres and warehouses, and alongside in-house AV teams where a venue has one. You brief one team, rehearse with the people running your day, and the person who planned it is there to call the show.

— What's included

What we deliver.

  • Audio for every voice. A PA matched to the room, lectern and wireless microphones, and a sound operator mixing every session live.
  • Screens & LED walls. LED walls, projection and confidence monitors, sized so every seat can read every slide.
  • Presentation control. Show computers, playback and a vision switcher handling slides, video and speaker content on cue.
  • Stage lighting. Lighting that makes presenters look right in the room and on camera, with brand colour for the moments between sessions.
  • Staging & lecterns. Modular stages, lecterns and panel setups, built to suit the room and the program.
  • Plenary & breakout rooms. Multi-room setups with matched AV, so every session runs to the same standard.
  • Streaming & recording. Livestreams for remote attendees, remote presenters on the room’s screens, and recorded sessions for content that lives on.
  • Show calling & crew. A senior technician calling the show, with tech checks and rehearsals alongside your presenters before doors open.
— Common questions

Good to know.

What AV do I need for a conference?
Most conferences need a PA matched to the room, a wireless or lectern microphone for every speaker plus a spare, screens the back row can read, confidence monitors for presenters, stage lighting so faces read clearly, and a technician mixing live. Above about 100 people, add a show caller who owns the running order. Send us the program and we’ll spec what your event needs.
How much does conference AV cost in Melbourne?
A single-room conference with a PA, microphones, a screen and a technician usually lands in the low thousands. Multi-day programs, breakout rooms, LED walls and streaming scale from there. Every quote is built from your run sheet, so you only pay for what the program uses.
Do you provide technicians for the whole event?
Yes. Our crew is on site from bump-in to bump-out, with a technician in every room that needs one and a senior operator calling the show in the plenary. You rehearse with the same people who run your day.
Can you work with our venue’s in-house AV?
Yes. We work alongside in-house teams in hotels and conference venues across Melbourne, using their systems where they suit the program and bringing our own where it needs more. We handle the venue liaison, rigging and access.
Can you stream or record our conference?
Yes. We produce livestreams for remote attendees, remote presenters joining on the room’s screens, and recorded sessions you can share afterwards. Our hybrid event production page covers how the room and the stream run together.
How far ahead should we book conference AV?
Two to three months is comfortable, and earlier for multi-day programs or the end-of-year season. The best time to involve us is while the program is still flexible, because room layout, session formats and streaming all shape the AV design.
Do you supply conference AV in Sydney?
Yes. We work across Melbourne and Sydney, and we’ve taken the same show between both cities, including TELUS Health’s launch at the Sydney Opera House.
